Grass clippings that have not been treated with chemicals can be used in your garden as a form of mulch. Place the clippings around plants in order to help keep weeds down and provide valuable nutrients back to the soil as the clippings decompose. Add the grass in layers roughly 1″ thick, but allow this to dry out completely before adding additional layers. Using grass clippings can be very beneficial for your garden.
