Is there a way to reverse the greenhouse effect?

    There are many ways! We can use energy more efficiently, use less chlorofluorocarbons, use renewable sources of energy, plant more forests, recycle materials and water, and use less pesticides.

    Actually we don’t want to reverse it. The greenhouse effect sustains life on planet Earth! However, atmospheric concentrations of greenhouse gases (GHG) are increasing due to humankind. This means the greenhouse effect is more pronounced and so Earth is warming which is causing climate change. The risk we are taking relates to the extent of the impacts. To reduce risk, we need to take actions that will reduce atmospheric GHG concentrations. Everyone is at a different stage in the sustainability journey.
