Is there a way to return the biodiversity of a logged rainforest?

A rainforest with its trees cut down is no longer really a rainforest. The ecosystem is irrecoverably being changed, and there is no way to return the biodiversity that has been lost to that area. Replanting the trees is one step that can help, but trees take a long time to grow. In the meantime, some of the biodiversity that once existed will not be a part of the new ecosystem. This is why it is so important to stop logging in the first place as much as we can.
