Cars run off of vegetable oil are increasing in popularity, as they have less harmful emissions, and give off no sulfur. It takes about $2,000 to convert a regular car into an oil-driven system. One drawback of this process is that the car will smell like whatever was cooked in the oil being used. Processing the oil of impurities can reduce the smell. However, dealing with the smell of french fries to save the earth won’t kill anyone.
