Milk will say where it comes from somewhere on the label. If oyu are trying to be environmentally friendly, buy milk from as local a source as possible (less pollution during transportation, and stimulates your local economy), unless of course your from California, then the two would be the same (although California ias such a large state try to get it from an area in California near you).
Usually labels will tell you where the milk comes from. California does a good job of labeling their products, so you’ll probably be able to tell right away. Just check on the back near the calories.
