Is there trash from every country in the garbage patch in the ocean?

Yes.  Although located in the North Pacific, bordered partially by North America and Japan, the currents pull trash from a larger area.  Also, much of the material is considered to be from ship waste, with ships coming from all over the world.

the Garbage Patch has collected debris from all over the world via the water systems that pour into each other.  The idea “everything is one” applies to this situation.  Additionally, while no one nation will claim responsibility for the accumulating debris, no one nation is contributing efforts to improve it.
