Yes, there is a non-toxic alternative to nail polish. For example, you can purchase “Piggy Paint,” a water-based nail polish which contains non-toxic chemicals, created by Piggy Paint TM. The nail polish contains acrylic and polyurethane resins in the form of latexes-emulsions in water which is simiar in form to milk.

Yes! It’s takes awhile to find it but if you do your research its easy to find natural organic nailpoishs online. I would read this book called the green beauty guide, I haven’t needed to read anything else its so helpful! If you don’t read the book here on ingredients to watch out for, RED LAKE (NO7 or any number) Menthaparaben Proplparaben (and type of paraben) Make sure it says certified organic, cruelty free (hopping bunny is a good sign) If you want it to last, make sure to read some review and see if it says non peel off. Hope this helps! 🙂

There are some nail polish companies that are organic and eco-friendly! Check out RGB cosmetics – it’s free of harmful chemicals like formaldehyde. Here are some other brands:

    1. Scotch Naturals. A water-based nail polish.
    2. Butter London. Rich pigments and free of harmful chemicals as well.
    3. Priti NYC
    4. Julep
