Green collar jobs are actually more akin to blue collar jobs then white collar jobs. Green collar jobs are usually thought of as more hands on labor require less formal education such as solar panel installation, wind turbine manufacturing, home weatherization, and the like. There are some soft environmental jobs such as environmental consultants and energy auditors but these still have little room from corruption.
