Is there more acid in lemons or limes?

    According to one study, lemons have slightly more citric acid than limes. Lemon juice has 1.44 grams/ounce and lime juice has 1.38 grams/ounce. See 1st link for the quantitative analysis.
    But in general, each type of lemon or lime has acidic or sweet varieties. Two common lemon acidic types are Eurekas and Lisbons. An acidic lime variety is the Key lime.
