Yes, there is quite a bit of wildlife (especially marine) in the Puget Sound. Over 3,000 species of invertebrates live there as well as over 200 species of fish. As far as mammals go, orcas, sea lions, and humpback whales can be seen too!
The Puget Sound is home to a variety of species from fish to birds. Some species you may happen upon in the Puget Sound include the Bald Eagle, Harbor Seal, River Otter, Belted Kingfisher, Great Blue Heron, Green Sea Urchin, Mottled Sea Star, Excentric Sand Dollar, Common Squid, Periwinkle, Moon Jelly, Moonglow Anemone, Orca, and Shorebird.
