There is the “red list” that lists fish that should not be eaten for various reasons (rare, overfished, high mercury content, etc.) and there are others that are more sustainable. Take a look at both lists below.
There certainly is! The Monterey Bay Aquarium constantly updates their “Seafood Pocket Watch Guide”. The guide is totally amazing – it includes best choices, good alternatives, and fishes to avoid. I highly recommend checking out the list created by the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
