Is there a level of cattle-ranching that would be sustainable, or is beef just plain bad for the environment?

    In theory it would be possible to find a balance and sustainably raise beef, for now. In the future as the world gets even more overpopulated we will need every inch of land to grow food. If beef is still raised it will become so expensive that only the rich could afford it, similar to today’s world but to a much greater degree.

    There is a “solution”, a scientist has created a way to synthesize meat in a laboratory (see linked page).
