Is there a height limit on trees in a garden of a house adjoining an housing estate.

The neighbours to the rear of my property have a line of trees standing some 15/20m high. These are taking the evening sunaway from my garden. Is there anythingI can do about this?

Unless there are CC&Rs where you live, then no. You could always ask them politely to take the tops off the trees, but they may not want to, if they enjoy having full-bodied trees to look at. Chances are that if they’re only blocking the evening sun, your garden won’t be hurt to badly, but if they won’t take the tops off, and you need a full day of sun, i would recommend replanting elsewhere.
