There most certainly is a gender gap at the within the field of climate change, and those in attendance at the Copenhagen Summit. Environmental politics are politics indeed, leaving many intelligent women on the sidelines at large scale events simply because many do not hold public or bureaucratic posts. The “game” is still largely dominated by men, however, this is not to say that there are no intelligent women present at Copenhagen or active in the politics of climate change; many women are working hard to reduce the effects of climate change and global warming.
