Many are on the market, and your best bet is probably to go to an organic products store or a Whole Foods and check out their skincare aisle. Pristineplanet.com suggests a couple: http://www.pristineplanet.com/biodegradable-organic-sunblock-natural-non-toxic-eco-friendly/sunscreen/1314_a_0.html
Also, the chemicals to look out for include PABA, octinoxate, oxybenzone, 4-methylbenzylidene camphor or the preservative butylparaben. They are toxic and used in most sunscreens. If they are in your “eco-friendly” choice, move on.
Yes! I use Burt’s Bees chemical free sunscreen and I love it. Like other Burt’s Bees products, it is natural and really works. The sunscreen does not use octinoxate and oxybenzone, which are found in most regular sunscreens. Instead, it uses TiO2 which is a naturally occurring mineral and considered safe for children. Always look for products that use naturally occuring minerals like the TiO2.
