Is there a commercial market for frogs legs?

The raising and selling of frogs commercially has not been proven to be successful here in the U.S. Although there may seem to be a profitable market for frog legs, this turns out to be more of a myth than an actual reality. Successful frog farmers are those that catch adult frogs, tadpoles, or frog eggs that are harvested from the wild. Frog farmers usually sell to agencies that are in the pet and captivity industry (Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University, 2009).
