Trace amounts of BPA has been found in toilet paper, credit card receipts, and a variety of other non-plastic sources.
I haven’t heard of BPA being in the traditional paper you use to write on or anything. However, I’ve heard of it being on paper receipts. They put BPA on one side of the receipt, and when it was heated up, color would form. I don’t thing this bothers me too much seeing that I don’t eat anything off of the paper anyway.
