Is there BPA in paper cups?

BPA has been found in recycled paper products (such as recycled paper and store receipts).  However, the usual victims of BPA are plastic (and “sippy”) cups.  The article below doesn’t specify whether paper cups contain BPA, but it does advise you to bring your own mug with you if you have doubts about a certain store’s cups.  (Less trash, too.)

While Bisphenol A is used for the manufacturing of several different products (such as plastics, CDs, medical devices and some dental sealants) it does not appear that it is used for paper manufacturing.
