I suppose one possibility, if your objective is to further conserve resources, would be to reuse a food-safe container you already have in your possession. Possibilities would be glass jars, a reusable drinking cup, and the like. The Sigg bottles and similar brands are much easier to take on active outings since they are sealed and unbreakable; however, if you are creative you might be able to make something out of materials already in your home.
Sorry, I was confused. I think you were asking about Sigg in relation to the BPA issue. I did not have information on that at the time I answered this question.
