Yes, there is. Trancendentist, the first certified eco friendly dentist in the country–and the only one at this point–has worked hard to be as eco friendly as possible. They use non-toxic paint on the walls, chemical-free wool carpet and cloth headrest covers and bibs instead of paper disposables, in addition to many other things. A dentistry like any business can be green. A big way to reduce the carbon footprint of a business is to go digital in all ways possible. This includes having patient files in an online database instead of having paper files. Also, like the above post said, there are many ways to structurally be eco-friendly. The dentistry can become LEED certified by using green efficient materials.
