I’m actually surprised this hasn’t already been answered. The digestive system breaks down food into nutrients which your body uses. The nutrients aren’t being broken down. Some people, including some doctors, recommend probiotics for helping your body break down food. According to everydayhealth.com, “probiotics can enhance nutrient absorption, help break down lactose, strengthen your immune system, and possibly even help treat irritable bowel syndrome.” You can get it by incorporating low-fat yogurt into your diet.
They don’t recommend taking only probiotics to help digestion. One of their other tips is to get soluble and insoluble fiber. Also, limit excessive caffeine intake, liquor intake, and cigarette smoking. More tips can be found at the cited URL.
Just try chewing bitter kola if you have the problem of indigestion.
A great way to absorb vital nutrients easly is juicing fresh veggies and fruit. That way you get all the enzymes, vitamins and minerals into your blood stream very quickly.
That way you can boost your health and compensate for years of poor nutrition without the body having to digest food.
