Yes. There is oxygen in the soil on the moon. However, there is not any atmospheric oxygen on the moon, as there is on Earth. The moon is not known to have an atmosphere.
There isn’t oxygen in the moon’s atmosphere, but there is in the rocks on the moon! Oxygen can be trapped in the lunar mineral ilmenite. Scientists are studying if and how this oxygen can be utilized.
