Magnesium is commonly used as a fire starter as magnesium shavings can be ignited from a spark and burns at a high enough temperature to burn underwater. This is added to festive firework sparklers and fuses to raise burning temperature and add brightness to the flame. Several other metals such as zinc and potassium react violently with water which can result in a flame or explosion. So yes, there are some metals that are flammable. The proper english for your question by the way would be ‘are there any metals that are flammable’
Yes: magnesium is highly flammable and steel also burns when in wool form.
Flammable metals include magnesium, potassium, sodium titanium, lithium, uranium, and aluminum.
