Yes, but it depends on the strain as to what is going to be most effective. CA-MRSA can be treated by sulfa drugs, tetracyclines, and clindamycin. HA-MRSA, on the other hand, is resistent to these drugs as well and can often only be treated by vanomycin. Linezolid is a newer drug that may prove to be effective against one or both strains.
