This really varies for each person, but for me, I find texting to be more convenient. To be able to tweet, even using your phone, you need an internet connection, which is an extra service you pay for. Whereas with texting, most phone plans have it readily included. Plus texting and tweeting have two separate functions. If you want to reach a wider audience in one shot, tweeting is the way to go. But for personal conversations, texting is your best bet.
You can text tweets, so they can be interchangeable. It’s more a matter of what I want to say. If it’s something that only one person’ll get, I’ll text them individually. But if it’s just an observation, I’ll tweet it.
