    So far, the swine flu vaccine seems safe. According to recent early clinical trials conducted in the US, there have been no serious side effects from the vaccine among adults. Other trials are being planned including one that will test the vaccine on children between the ages of 6 months and 17 years old. However, as of right now scientists are optimistic. The complete data from this series of trials will become available in September or October.

    As of right now, the swine flu vaccine is deemed safe for use. Supposedly, the according to the CDC a flu shot is a flu shot, thus the swine flu vaccine should be as safe as the regular seasonal flu shot, which is an extremely safe vaccine. In 1976 it has been associated with GB syndrome, however there is no such association with the current vaccine.
