Is sulfuric acid dangerous to animals?

    In a laboratory study where monkeys were exposed to different concentrations of H2SO4, the test animals developed brionchial epithelial hyperplasia, thickened walls of respiratory bronchioles, and thickened alveolar walls.

    These symptoms are precursors to lung cancer. Additonally, bronchial constriction leads to asthma.
