Is spring the wettest time of the year in the United States?

    The answer to this question depends largely on what part of the United States we are referring to because of the drastic difference between climates and times of year that each part of the US is hit by high precipitation. For example the Western half of the US/Alaska the most is accumulated during the late summer through the bulk of spring and get the most precipitation throughout the continental US. But on average the most precipitation we recieve here in the United States happens during the Winter into the Spring!
