Is a spotted bat a reptile?

No, all bats are mammals.  Bats are the only mammals which fly.

Bats are mammals, not reptiles. All mammals are warm blooded, have hair, drink milk, and are vertebrates (have a spine). Reptiles, on the other hand, are cold-blooded and have scales. Because bats have the ability to fly, it’s easy to categorize them as birds, but this is not so. Bats are simply the only mammal species that flies.
