Is soil pollution dangerous?

At high enough levels it can be. Soil pollution can lead to water pollution in groundwater if hazardous chemicals leach into groundwater or contaminated runoff reaches bodies of water like lakes or oceans. Soil pollution can lead to air pollution and acid rain as well. Further, plants growing in polluted soil can also become contaminated and stop growing or hurt the food chain that includes them.
