    The Leptotyphlops carlae was discovered in 2008 in Bardados and is now considered the world’s smallest snake. 

    This snake is just 4 inches long (10 centimeters) and as “thin as a spaghetti noodle”. 

    There are 3,100 known species of snakes discovered.
