Should there be a limit to how many cars a family can own?

Such a law would be a violation of an individual’s right to acquire property, however certain municipalities might be able to pass legislation to restrict how many cars individuals are allowed to keep at “residences.” I, for one, would be in favor of such a measure. My neighbors have four huge vans. The front of their house looks like a parking lot. The environmental impact of such a law, however, would not likely be significant. The problem isn’t how many cars people have, it’s how often people are driving: too often.
