    Yes, but we should also have EV infrastructure to refuel. While ideally EVs would be the only vehicles being sold (or, at least, more environmentally friendly vehicles would be the only ones sold), the US currently lacks the infrastructure to really pursue such a thing. So yes, but we should also get ourselves off a gas-based infrastructure first. China and India may go this route in the future.

    Since there are a small amount of EVs at the moment there is not much need for large EV lots. The first step would be installing charging stations in widespread locations so that it becomes more convenient to charge, and to gain awareness. Once more EVs are on the road we should definitely build bigger lots to accommodate.
