Should people that live in rural areas still have to pay taxes for public transportation?

If they’re getting public transportation in their community… one thorny idea to keep in mind when thinking about communities and societies, is that the reason people first banded together was to help and support one another, and it seems like this idea is getting lost in our common society. All communities, whether rural or urban, should put in a little bit to help out the whole and get benefits back (or at least that’s how the idea goes.)
