Should the Army corps of engineers be allowed to cut down trees?

    Yes, if they need to cut down some trees to build a levee to save a town then yes. But there might be exceptions to that… sometimes the tree is worth more than town for some intrinsic reason.

    If the question is should they log, that’s a BIG it-depends. They should not clear-cut, they should not cut for profit, they should retree in compensation. They MUST practice good stewardship in the extreme if they cut down a tree.
