    Definitely a great question to ask! However, I think it’s too early to tell, and the movement has probably not spread far enough yet. Localism tends to be practiced by a very specific part of society, generally the more-affluent mid-to-upper class on the East or West coasts, where farmer’s markets are most proliferant. Keep in mind there are only 4500 farmer’s markets in the United States! So in my opinion, the answer to your question is probably not, but the movement is still growing.
