Is selling good on the internet more eco friendly?

If I were to hazard an opinion, I would say that it does have its purposes in a more eco-friendly transaction. Orders/receipts/paperwork can all be dealt with electronically, cutting down on paper costs. Storefronts are reduced to images on a webpage instead of having to be housed in a structure that uses power, water, and other utilities. There is no need for a structure independent of actual good storage as well, providing a virtual space in place of a building that uses lumber, metal, and other such materials. It does seem to have its advantages, just from a glance.
