Frequently, yes. If you make an effort to turn off your lights, not use as much heating/cooling, and unplug your appliances when not in use, you will definitely save money on your energy bill. The only way it won’t save money is if you buy newer, more energy efficient appliances. These will save energy, but not money, because of the initial cost of the appliance. Even this will eventually save money, however, since the monthly deductions on your energy bill will add up and eventually exceed the cost of the appliance in the first place.
