Is recycled water clean enough for us to use as drinking water?

Generally speaking recycled water, also known as reclaimed water, aren’t used for drinking. These waters are mostly used in industries where water purity isn’t as critical as in public tap water. Despite this, recycled water can be made drinkable if treated properly. But under common circumstances and the uncertainty of the purification process it is not recommended to drink recycled water, unless state officials assure that it is safe to drink it.
