Yes. Raw or “smokeless” tobacco contains 28 known carcinogens, and frequently leads to disturbing things like pancreatic and oral cancer. It does terrible things to your reproductive organs and mouth if chewed (including reduced sperm count, increased rate of premature birth and leukoplakia in your mouth), and because of the high concentration of nicotine in raw tobacco, it can still lead to increased nicotine dependence.
