Yes, raw sugar is healthier than regular sugar because it is not as processed. A lot of raw sugar sold is also organic, and will say so on the package. Also, there are minerals and nutrients in raw sugar that are taken out when sugar is refined.
Yes. “Regular” sugar is processed with other things to make it look uniform and white. Some things include animal bone char, which is why some vegans avoid standard sugar. Raw sugar is just that — sugar. No buts about it. It’s usually tastier, too. So, if given the option, I’d say go with raw.
