Not necessarily just for cows, but if you include the lumber and increased land for agricultural use, then yes. However, how much it is worth by today’s market standards does not take into account how much a rainforest is worth in an envrionmental sense. The biodiversity and scientific knowledge locked away in a rainforest, some would argue, is worth far more than the value of lumber, cows and agriculture. However, the market does not reflect that currently.
