It depends. If anyone in your home smokes, then no, cigarrette smoke is the most dangerous chemical. If you live in an old house that still has lead in it (paint, etc), then that is probably more of a danger as well. Formaldehyde and pesticides are also some intense chemicals that give radon a run for its money in terms of damage potential. However, radon is some serious stuff – it is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the US, causing 21,000 deaths each year.
