It depends on your personal financial situation, the incentives available in your country, state, or local jurisdiction, your location in terms of solar input, the size and efficiency of the system you install, how much heat and/or electricity you use, whether or not the system you install would generate enough to sell back to the grid, the present cost of heat and/or electricity that you use from other sources, and other factors.
