Pumas are found from the Yukon down to the southern Andes in South America.  They are the mammal that spands the most amount of territory in the Western Hemisphere, as they are very adaptable.

Pumas can range from Northern Yukon in Canada to the Southern Andes in South America.  Something I didn’t know is that puma can also be called cougar, panther, mountain lion, catamount and others.

Pumas, otherwise known as mountain lions or cougars, can be found in North, Central, and South America. Their populations are still healthy enough in the Western portion of the United States and the Canadian provinces. Their numbers have been decimated in the Eastern and Midwestern United States, but a small population still exits in southern Florida.
