Is the production of bologna a bad thing for the environment?

The impact of meat production on the environment depends on the producer — individual processing plants can decide how much of an impact they will have due to their production practices. However, bologna creation is not inherently bad for the environment. In fact, since bologna is generally composed of low-value meat scraps, it could be seen as a low-waste, earth-friendly meat in line with Native Americans’ practice of using all parts of the animal.
