Proctor and Gamble are going green. Their efforts have been noted by http://www.treehugger.com and they continue to go greener. Proctor and Gamble is hoping to double its green efforts by 2012.
While it is great that P&G is attempting to make some environmental efforts, the company is extremely guilty of greenwashing. P&G mentioned on one of its web pages that, “Our goal is for one million people to do their part to reduce the harm done to animals from human actions.” This sounds encouraging, but what many don’t realize is that P&G is one of the biggest abusers of animal testing.
