Is nuclear power carbon neutral?

No. Nuclear energy cannot be considered carbon neutral. Nuclear energy does have lower carbon emissions than energy derived from fossil fuels. However, the dangers that nuclear energy presents and the problem of nuclear waste make it a less desirable energy choice than cleaner energy sources like solar and wind power.
