Is playing music eco friendly?

There are actually very few human activities that are eco friendly, because so many aspects of our life, especially the products we use, involve energy use and therefore CO2 emissions. In the case of music, you need to use a radio, computer, or MP3 player to play it. All of these products have environmentally expensive electronic components. Additionally, they require electricity (often in the form of batteries) to run. However, in the long run, it doesn’t matter all that much in the face of much more environmentally destructive activities, so don’t feel bad listening to music 🙂

…playing instruments and singing, however, is pretty much emission free barring both electric instruments and normal human respiration (which would occur anyway.)

I think you can say that’s relatively eco-friendly.
