Is the plastic used for bags worse for the environment than the plastic used for bottles?

    Yes and no.  Plastic bags take less time to biodegrade, but they are not as easy to recycle.  They have also killed many sea turtles because they resemble jellyfish if floating in the water, causing the sea turtles to eat them and suffocate.  Plastic bottles, however, are not good for the environment either.  Therefore, it’s best to use alternatives to both if you possibly can.
